Shipping Policy
Quick Summary: We ship within the United States only. Orders over $75 ship free. Most orders process within 1–3 business days. Once your tracking number shows “In Transit” or “Delivered,” the package is in the carrier’s hands and claims must be filed directly with them. Glass damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
1. Shipping Destinations
Prairie Roots Goods ships to addresses within the contiguous United States only at this time. We do not currently ship to:
- Alaska or Hawaii
- United States territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, etc.)
- APO/FPO/DPO military addresses
- International destinations
- P.O. Boxes (for certain oversized or fragile items — standard items may ship to P.O. Boxes)

3. Order Processing Time
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Processing time is separate from shipping transit time.

Note: Orders placed after 12:00 PM CST will begin processing the following business day. Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays will begin processing the next business day.

5. Tracking Your Order
A shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number will be sent to the email address on file once your order ships. Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for tracking information to become active.
6. Carrier Liability & Lost Packages
Important — Please Read: Once a shipment has been tendered to the carrier and tracking status updates to “In Transit” or “Delivered,” Prairie Roots Goods is no longer liable for the package. Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon carrier pickup.
Lost Packages
- Check around your property, with neighbors, and in any secure mailroom or package area
- Wait 24 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered 1 day early
- Contact the carrier directly to file a missing package claim
- Contact us at [email protected] and we will assist with documentation for your carrier claim
Stolen Packages
Prairie Roots Goods is not responsible for packages stolen after delivery. We recommend requesting signature-required delivery, having packages held at a carrier facility, or filing a claim with your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance.
Carrier Delays
Prairie Roots Goods is not responsible for carrier delays due to weather, high volume periods, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.
7. Glass & Fragile Item Shipping
48-Hour Damage Reporting Window: Any damage to glass or fragile items must be reported within 48 hours of confirmed delivery. Reports must include photographs of the damaged item AND the original packaging. Claims submitted after 48 hours will not be eligible for replacement or refund. 8. Restricted States & Products
Certain products may be subject to state-specific restrictions, particularly vaping devices and electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS). It is the customer’s sole responsibility to verify that products they are ordering are legal in their state, county, and municipality.
- ENDS & Vaping Products: Several states have enacted restrictions on online sales of vaping products. We comply with all applicable state regulations.
- Tobacco Products: All tobacco products are subject to the federal Tobacco 21 law — no sales to persons under 21.

9. Address Accuracy
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of order. Prairie Roots Goods is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrectly entered address. Contact us immediately at [email protected] if you notice an error after placing your order.
10. Discreet Packaging
All orders ship in plain, unmarked packaging. Our business name and return address will appear on the shipping label as required by carriers, but no product descriptions or branding will be visible on the outside of the package.
