However, during development much more attention was paid to performance per area and time. In countless empirical tests with cannabis and other plants, the spectrum was optimized as best as possible. The resulting broadband light spectrum extends beyond the conventional PAR spectrum and offers a Far Red to Red ratio that positively affects photomorphogenesis, and thus harvest quality and quantity. Light protection and control During the development of the EVO series, the protective and secondary light-directing optics were optimized to the geometric dimensions of the luminaire. This results in an incredibly homogeneous illumination with the best light intensity (PPFD). Asymmetric secondary optics also minimize photon transport losses in plants and protect the LEDs from the environmental effects that the luminaire is exposed to during plant cultivation. Sulfur and other chemicals cannot penetrate the LED. Thus, oxidation of the reflector of the led chip is prevented. The optics can be cleaned easily. Protection and cleanability guarantee you constant light output for many years. Ready to set up Every model in the EVO series is “ready to adjust”. This means that the luminaire is compatible with standard control systems used in greenhouse technology. Alternatively, you can retrofit the lamp with a magnetic dimmer or a Bluetooth dimmer. Compared to rotary potentiometers, our solutions work without wear and moisture and water cannot damage them.
